Mo’ the merrier — Skeff raises awareness for prostate cancer

Movember (the month formally known as November ) is a charity event held during November each year. At the start of Movember guys register with a clean shaven face.

The Movember participants known as Mo Bros then have the remainder of the month to grow and groom their ‘Mo’ (slang for moustache ) and along the way raise awareness and funds for men's health issues - specifically prostate cancer. (Men in Ireland have a one in nine chance of developing prostate cancer during their lifetime )

01 There is to be no joining of the Mo to the side burns - that's a beard!

02 There is to be no joining of the handlebars - that's a goatee!

03 A small complimentary growth under the bottom lip is allowed

(aka a tickler ).

04 You must remain clean shaven apart from your Mo for the entire 30 days.

05 Complimentary admission to Karma every Saturday before midnight.(To show off your Mo )

Throughout November, male staff from The Skeff Bar & Karma Club will participate & support this cause by growing a ‘Mo’.

On Saturday November 27 Fat Tonys Barber Shop in association with The Skeff & Karma will host a ‘public shave-off’ from 8pm with complimentary admission for all Skeff ‘Shave-Off’ participants. Contact [email protected] for more info.
