Are you a mum-to-be or a parent with a brand new baby? Are you looking for ideas on how to maximise your time and help you de-stress and unwind? Then why not head to a special event at The Ardilaun Hotel this Sunday.
The Ardilaun and parents’ website Mykidstime.ie have teamed up for the first Bump and Beyond mother-to-be and baby expo taking place in the west of Ireland this Sunday. The event is designed especially for expecting or new parents. Go along between 2pm and 6pm to this free event to find out about the latest baby products, meet other parents-to-be, and find out more about looking after your precious bundle. Parents will be free to chat with different service providers and organisations, and there will be talks and demonstrations from a variety of expert speakers including guest speaker Therese Ryan, director of Renewal Consultants, which will commence at 3.30pm. Her workshop will explore ways to maximise your time and help you de-stress and unwind.
Therese Ryan is one of Ireland's leading stress management and wellbeing experts. She is consulted regularly by the media for her advice and opinion on this issue. Her work is published regularly in professional health and fitness journals as well as featuring on the RTE 1 health show How Long Will You Live? for the last three years. Ms Ryan is a native of Co Limerick. She has worked abroad in her field of expertise in Australia, the United Kingdom, and India. She is on the executive board of the International Stress Management Association (UK ), which is the umbrella body for all issues of stress management in the UK and Ireland. She is the Irish representative for ISMA and represents the strong and growing membership based in Ireland.
There will even be a free portrait sitting of each baby on the day, and it is also open to mothers-to-be as a memento for future years, all compliments of Morgan Photography, www.morganphotography.ie
Being a family owned and run well established Galway hotel, The Ardilaun is well known for its family events. “We are delighted to be partnering with Mykidstime.ie to bring a new type of event to the west,” said Maria Kelly, sales and marketing manager. “The Bump and Beyond expo gives expecting and new parents the chance to meet up, find out about the latest products, and hopefully pick up some useful tips from our experts including Therese Ryan.”
