THE AWARD winning Galway animator and cartoonist John Jennings will host a Manga drawing workshop at the Galway City Museum on Saturdays from 2pm to 3pm from April 17 to May 22.
Manga is a type of Japanese drawing that has become popular internationally since the late 1990s. It is used in such animations as Pokemon and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. John will take participants from basic character design to the first pages of their own graphic novel. Participants should bring pens, pencils, and paper.
