Fergal D’Arcy headlines a wicked week at Monroe’s

Things are getting a little wicked on Dominick Street this October, as Monroe’s gears up for eight days of live music, Halloween-inspired food specials, cocktails and late-night entertainment from 24–31st October.

With something happening across Monroe’s Tavern and Monroe’s Live, there’s plenty of reason to head to the West End throughout the week.

The Tavern kitchen has created a selection of Halloween-inspired food specials, while ‘The Spirits of Monroe’s’ menu introduces limited-edition cocktails behind the bar, along with a few suitably spooky shots.

The celebrations step up on Sunday 25th as the famous Macnas parade takes to the streets of Galway. As the crowds make their way towards Dominick Street, Monroe’s will keep the atmosphere going with the Samhain Sessions and live music right through until late.

Getting the gang together? Book a table, order some finger food and make a night of it. Costumes are encouraged, with a €100 Monroe’s voucher up for grabs for the best dressed during Wicked Week.

Then it’s all eyes on Saturday 31st, when Fergal D’Arcy takes over Monroe’s Live for a zombie-themed Halloween night, while Absent brings its Halloween Party to Backstage.

Whether it’s a post-Macnas pint, dinner with friends, live music or a full Halloween night out, Wicked Week at Monroe’s has you covered.
