Leapmotor has launched its new B05 electric hatchback in Ireland.
The B05 joins the T03 compact city car, the B10 compact SUV and the C10 large family SUV in the brand's range. It is offered in two trims – 'Style' and 'Design' – and two battery options, across three versions.
The 56.2kWh battery version starts from €28,998, increasing to €31,487 for the 67.1kWh battery, while the top trim retails from €32,984. All prices are inclusive of SEAI grant and VRT rebate, and exclude metallic paint and delivery charges. Leapmotor says the B05 has an electric driving range of up to 485km from the bigger battery with an output of 160kW (218hp ) and 240Nm of torque.
The hatchback is 4,430mm long and 1,880mm wide, with a 2,735mm wheelbase. It offers a 345-litre boot that extends to 1,400-litres with the rear seats folded.
The entry-level Style arrives comprehensively equipped as standard, with 19-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels, frameless doors, LED automatic headlights, a 14.6-inch central touchscreen paired with an 8.8-inch digital cluster, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging, digital and NFC key, automatic air conditioning, V2L (Vehicle-to-Load ), over-the-air updates, seven airbags, 21 ADAS functions and a 360° parking camera.
Design adds a panoramic sunroof with electric sunshade, eco-leather seats, electrically adjustable and heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, ambient interior lighting, automatically folding mirrors, rear privacy glass, rain sensors and a 12-speaker audio system.
Available from Kenny Galway, the Leapmotor B05 is backed by a six-year/unlimited mileage warranty and an eight-year/160,000km battery warranty.
