Range Rover moves away from traditional SUV offering

Range Rover is breaking away from its traditional SUV offering with the launch of a new GT model.

With a full unveiling set for later this year, the GT will be the first all-electric Range Rover to be built on its new EMA platform. It will initially be available as a full EV, with plans for a hybrid version further down the line.

The interior will see the introduction of a new single screen design paired with a driver display in place of a traditional instrument cluster.

Martin Limpert is the managing director at Range Rover, and he said the GT will be "the most car-like, yet unmistakably capable, Range Rover ever created".
