It is always a positive development for a city when an experienced professional chooses to establish an independent enterprise within it. This week we are pleased to note one such development: Niall Browne & Company has officially opened for business in Galway city.

A native of Salthill who is widely regarded as a popular professional figure, Mr Browne brings a formidable record to the venture, having spent twenty-five years with one of Galway’s most renowned estate agents. Over that quarter of a century he has built a reputation for diligence, discretion and a thorough understanding of the local market, having sold over 750 new homes and more than 1,000 residential and commercial units in the course of his career.

Recognised as a prominent and trustworthy estate agent, he brings extensive experience in private treaty and new home sales, and has negotiated the sale of a large number of prominent retail and commercial buildings throughout the city. He is also well known locally for his involvement in charity auctions. He is joined in the new practice by colleagues Damien Kiely and Malcolm Browne.

The founding principle of the firm is a straightforward one: accountability. In a sector concerned with the most significant financial decision most people will ever make, clients of Niall Browne & Company are assured of dealing directly with Mr Browne and his team at every stage, from valuation through to completion.

The establishment of a locally owned, independently run business is a sign of a healthy and confident city. Residents of Galway considering a sale, a purchase or simply seeking an informed opinion on the current market will find the practice ready to assist.

Mr Browne looks forward to bringing a number of his recent listings to the market, with a large number of further properties currently in preparation to be offered in the weeks ahead.
