If you’re wondering how best to enjoy the current sunny spell, and have a hundred grand to spare, a luxury yacht visiting Galway this week could be yours... but only for one week.
The impressive vessel Mystere, berthed in Galway Harbour since Monday, is en route from Greenland to sunnier climes.
The luxury sailing boat, built in 2006, is over 141 feet long, with a top speed of 15 knots, and a cruising range under power of 1,800 nautical miles - enough to circumnavigate the globe with only one stop. In 2007 it won the World Superyacht Award.
Mystere can sleep seven guests in four cabins, and is available to charter for €100,000 per week. This includes an experienced skipper, household staff and a professional chef, plus speed boats and jet skis to play with.
The air-conditioned Mystere even has a liftable keel, allowing her to sail into shallow waters near the beach in case the ice cream van comes.
