The Labour Party is inviting residents of the Circular Road area to attend a public meeting to discuss growing concerns about road safety as traffic levels continue to increase.
Labour says the combination of significant new housing developments and rising traffic volumes on what remains a relatively narrow road has heightened concerns for pedestrians, cyclists, motorists and local families. The party is calling for a comprehensive safety audit of Circular Road to identify measures that will improve safety for all road users.
The meeting will provide residents with an opportunity to share their experiences, highlight safety issues and discuss practical solutions to address current and future traffic challenges. Feedback from the meeting will help inform Labour’s campaign for improvements along the route.
The public meeting will take place at 7.30pm on Tuesday, 14 July, in the Bushypark Church Community Hall.
Labour is encouraging everyone living in the area to attend, have their voices heard and contribute to the discussion on creating a safer Circular Road. The party says strong community participation will help build the case for action and ensure local concerns are reflected in future road safety planning.
