O'Donnellan & Joyce Auctioneers achieved total sales of €6.445 million following a highly successful live stream property auction on Thursday, June 25, with 11 properties sold during the auction.
The standout result of the day was Blocks 4 & 9, Ballybrit Business Park, Galway, which attracted intense bidding from three determined parties. The property had an asking price of €1.95 million and sold for an impressive €2.45 million, highlighting the continued demand for high-quality commercial investment opportunities.
Another significant sale followed immediately afterwards with Woodquay Townhouse, 20 Walsh's Terrace, Woodquay, Galway, which achieved a sale price of €1.94 million.
Other notable sales included No 1 Lower Griffith Street, Athlone, Co Westmeath, which exceeded its asking price of €180,000 to achieve an impressive €300,000. Meanwhile, land at Springfield, Killoran, Ballinasloe, Co Galway sold for €55,000.
The auction also featured seven former health centre properties across the Cork region, which generated combined sales of €1.7 million, reflecting continued strong interest in investment and redevelopment opportunities. Highlights included No 4 Carriglee, Western Road, Cork city, which sold for €440,000; Mallow Health Centre achieving €360,000; Cobh Health Centre selling for €250,000; and Passage West Health Centre realising €210,000.
Further Cork sales included Ballydehob Dispensary, which sold for €195,000; Dunmanway Dispensary for €150,000; and Rathduff Dispensary for €95,000.
