Medical Technology Ireland takes place on 23-24 September 2026 at Galway Racecourse, Ballybrit. With a dynamic line-up of panels and presentations, the Conference programme tackles the most pressing issues facing medtech today.
Day One opens with the future of advanced medical technologies before turning to regulation, manufacturing, and global competitiveness. Sessions examine the opportunities and risks of AI in medtech, the journey from research to revenue and commercialisation, and the realities of building resilient supply chains in an unstable world, with contributions from the IDA, Enterprise Ireland, and leading industry voices.
Day Two features the ever-popular Women in Medtech Forum, a highlight of the conference, celebrating female leadership across the industry, with broadcaster and sports star Cora Staunton among the guests. The day also explores soft-landing strategies for scaling beyond Ireland, biological testing and ISO 10993 preparation, delivering complex programmes in high-growth environments, and leading through pressure, change, and setbacks. The exhibition is completely sold out and will showcase more than 420 Irish and international companies with exhibition booths over four floors.
The event is targeted at the medical device OEM engineering, supply chain and procurement management community. You will be able to see the entire spectrum of advanced technology, materials and solutions for the design, development and production of medical devices, including packaging, moulding, automation, medical electronics, medical plastics, sterilisation, components, materials testing and inspection, sensors, surface technology, manufacturing equipment, manufacturing services and consultation services such as IP, regulatory and design.
