The BMW M2 with M xDrive will launch in Ireland in late summer 2026.

BMW’s M2 lineup has been enhanced with the introduction of the first all wheel drive variant.

The M xDrive all-wheel drive system splits the power developed by the 480hp 3.0-litre six-cylinder in-line engine with BMW M TwinPower Turbo technology between the front and rear axles.

Also in play is the Active M Differential, which distributes drive variably between the rear wheels as required, maximising traction and delivering the driving dynamics typically associated with a rear-wheel drive model. These enhanced traction levels increase the car’s agility, dynamism and directional stability resulting in improved acceleration. The M xDrive clocks 0–100km in 3.7 seconds.

The Irish market launch of the new BMW M2 with M xDrive will commence in late summer 2026, with pricing starting from €126,175 OTR.
