Mercedes-Benz has lifted the lid on pricing for the new C-Class which will launch later this year as a fully-electric car for the first time.

Pricing for the C400 4Matic will start from €72,290. The range-topping C400 4Matic in AMG Line plus trim will be available from €78,990.

The C-Class, alongside the E-Class and S-Class, has evolved since it first arrived on the scene to now become a mainstay of the Mercedes-Benz global product offering and is one of the brand’s best-selling and most popular models.

Looking ahead to its arrival, Patrick Howlett, national sales manager at Mercedes-Benz Ireland, said the new electric C-Class represents “a landmark evolution for one of Mercedes-Benz’s most celebrated nameplates”.

“Irish customers can expect the refinement, intelligence, and driving pleasure that defines the C-Class – now elevated for a fully electric age. Seamlessly blending dynamic performance with sophisticated comfort and cutting-edge technology, this is without question the most advanced C-Class ever created,” he stated.

Described as striking in design with a sculpted silhouette, athletic GT rear and iconic grille, Mercedes-Benz said the new electric C-Class boasts a range of up to 762km (WLTP ) coupled with the ability to recharge up to 325km of range in just 10 minutes.
