Coill na nÓg Childcare service located on Claran National School grounds was established in September 2022 by Claran National School Board of Management to meet the childcare needs of the families in Claran Community.
“In the last four years we have grown and expanded our service by opening a new classroom for 2 year olds recognising how difficult it is for families to find appropriate childcare for their younger children,” said Egiya Bozanova, Coill na nÓg Manager
“Currently we provide high quality childcare to children aged 2 to 15 years, 51 weeks per year from 7.45 to 6pm. We offer full day, part time, sessional and Afterschool services. We also offer ECCE scheme to eligible children for 38 weeks a year, and operate NCS scheme all year round to support the families attending our service. We have our own kitchen on site – hot meals and snacks are provided to the children attending our service.
“Our highly qualified staff is dedicated to provide home from home environment as we want to ensure our families – their children are in a safe place where they can grow, learn and feel like they are at home and simply enjoy their childhood.
“We recognise the importance of and value the input from parents and families actively inviting them to our service to talk about their professions and hobbies, spend time with us and celebrate special occasions together. To build the sense of belonging to our community we also invite people from our community, we love the visits from Community Garda, Firefighters and local businesses.
