Louise Howard of Louise Howard Solicitors has been shortlisted in two categories for this year’s National Irish Law Awards. This is the third time Ms Howard has been shortlisted for the prestigious Lawyer of the Year award for Connacht and Ulster. In 2024 she won the coveted award for Sole Principal of the Year.
Louise qualified as a solicitor with the Law Society of Ireland in 2006. In 2017 Louise decided to take the step to open her own business in the heart of Galway city which has grown from strength to strength. The firm offers a range of legal services focusing mainly on personal injury, medical and dental negligence, property sales and purchases together with probate.
The annual Irish Law Awards event is taking place on Friday 12th June 2026 in the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin. The Irish law awards, sponsored by Dye & Durham Corporation, seek to identify, honour and publicise the outstanding achievements of lawyers regionally and nationally. The purpose of the event is to recognise excellence in the legal profession commending the achievements of lawyers across the Country.
When asked about the event Louise, said she is delighted to have been shortlisted again for the Irish law awards.
“It is an honour to represent Connacht at the awards ceremony in Dublin,” she said.
