Community events in Ballybane Hub this May

Residents of Ballybane are invited to two enjoyable community evenings taking place at the Ballybane Community Hub over the coming weeks, offering food, fun and social connection for all ages.

A special cookery demonstration will take place on Thursday 14 May at 7pm in the Ballybane Community Hub, where local chef Maria McNeela will showcase how to prepare two hearty family favourites — chicken casserole and chicken pasta bake.

Guests will enjoy live demonstrations followed by tastings, along with complimentary tea and coffee. Organisers say the evening promises to be both informative and welcoming, with everyone invited to attend.

The Ballybane Community Hub is located at 30 Béal Srutha, H91 TW27, with parking available adjacent to Ballybane Library.

The Hub will also host its next Classic Board Games Evening on Wednesday 20 May from 6.30pm.

Described as a relaxed and social gathering, the event will feature a variety of classic board games, an in-house raffle, tea, coffee and treats. Organisers encourage anyone looking for a fun and friendly evening out to come along.

The Ballybane Community Hub is situated at 30 Béal Srutha, H91 TW27, with convenient parking beside Ballybane Library.

All are welcome to attend both events.
