Galway-based activewear brand, Faciem Metus, have made three new high-profile additions to their team of athletes.
Derry footballer, Shane McGuigan, Fermanagh footballer, Darragh McGurn, and hyrox elite athlete, Aaron Travers have joined the Faciem Metus team. They join Galway footballer, Shane Walsh, who was the brand's first sponsored athlete.
McGuigan recently made his 100th senior appearance for the Derry senior team, scoring 0-9 in the county's win over Antrim to book a spot in the Ulster SFC semi-final. Darragh McGurn has been earning plaudits for his impressive shooting ability, which was on show last weekend as he shot 1-12 from play, including five two-pointers, in his Fermanagh side's 2-32 to 1-24 loss against Armagh. A month ago, Aaron Travers smashed the world record for the ski erg marathon as he completed the feat in 2 hours 29 minutes 52 seconds.
The brand will continue to build a team of elite athletes to represent the brand in GAA and Hyrox. Faciem Metus place a huge emphasis on mentality and attitude in sport, discipline, and building mental resilience. They want their message to extend beyond the pitch.
They released a new Terra collection at the beginning of April. Faciem Metus want to design and create gear that serves all purposes - for performance and for comfort.
Ahead of their upcoming summer collection, Faciem Metus are making their presence felt as they aspire to become a leading name in the activewear market.
