Nissan has officially launched the new fully-electric Micra as the brand continues the story of the car that first hit Irish roads some 40 years ago.

Pricing for the new Micra starts at €25,995 and is available with a 40kWh battery, offering a claimed range of up to 317km. A 52kWh battery offers a top range of 416km with both battery variants supporting DC fast-charging up to 80kW and 110kW respectively.

The all-new Micra is available in three grades. The entry level 'Engage' grade has a 40kWh battery and is priced at €25,995. The 'Advance' grade is priced from €27,995 from the 40kWh version and from €30,995 for the 52kWh variant.

The top of the range 'Evolve' grade is only available with the 52kWh battery and is priced at €32.995. All prices include the SEAI grant of €3,500 and exclude delivery related charges.

The interior includes dual 10.1-inch infotainment screens while Google Maps, Assistant and Play Store are built in along with voice control and the most up-to-date navigation. The NissanConnect app allows you to set the cabin temperature, check your battery status remotely, and plan your route with charging stops already built in.

Standard safety features include Autonomous Emergency Braking, Emergency Lane Keeping Assist and Lane Departure Warning. A full suite of driver assistance features is also available including adaptive cruise control and parking support.
