Time is running out to register for this year’s Steps for Simon challenge, and Galway Simon are calling on the public to get involved in whatever way they can. With only days left to register to take the challenge, campaign ambassador Laura Burke (@lauraburkefitness ) is encouraging individuals, families, workplaces, and community groups to take part and help raise vital funds for Galway Simon.
This year’s campaign is proudly supported by the Salthill Rotary Club, whose Kick the Wall initiative invites anyone walking the Salthill Prom to join in by contributing their spare change. All funds donated during the month of May will go towards the campaign. Their hands?on involvement adds another meaningful way for the public to support the cause while enjoying one of Galway’s most iconic walks.
There are multiple ways to take part in Steps for Simon:
Sign up as an individual and complete your kilometres in your own time
Register a team with friends, colleagues, or clubmates
Donate directly at www.galwaysimon.ie to support the campaign’s fundraising goals
Drop spare change into Salthill Rotary Kick the Wall collection point on the Prom.
Every step, every euro, and every act of support helps ensure Galway Simon can continue providing essential services to those experiencing homelessness across Galway, Mayo and Roscommon. To register or donate visit www.galwaysimon.ie/steps
