The Catering Contract at UHG is currently due for renewal and a PSR (Procurement Support Request ) is being prepared to be submitted to the HSE’s Procurement Team with a view to conducting a tender competition at the earliest opportunity.
Anne Cosgrove, Integrated Health Area Manager, Galway Roscommon said that the previous contract included other hospitals within the Saolta Group such as Mayo University Hospital, Portiuncula Hospital and Roscommon University Hospital.
“The PSR will need to reflect the changes which have arisen as a result of the recent Health Service Reform / Integrated Health Areas,” she said, adding that it is intended to confine the new tender to hospitals in the Galway/Roscommon IHA,” she added.
