Gardaí are hunting thieves who broke into houses across the county in the last week.
In a burglary at a house in Gurteeny, Loughrea, on Wednesday, March 4, at 3:45am, three men were seen in the area at the time.
A set of car keys was taken from inside the property, and a white Volkswagen Tiguan was taken from outside the property. The vehicle has since been recovered bearing false number plates.

Meanwhile, gardaí in Oranmore are investigating the burglary of a house in the French Park estate, Oranmore, on Monday, March 9, at 4:58am. A set of car keys was taken from inside the property, and a blue BMW 3 series was taken from outside the property. The vehicle has since been recovered.
