Claddagh Credit Union welcomed 37 enthusiastic teams from primary schools across the community to its annual Schools Quiz last week.
Before the questions even began, the excitement was high, and it was wonderful to see so many young participants ready to put their knowledge to the test. Congratulations to the winning teams who stood out on the night.
St. Annin's NS in Rosscahill secured first place in the junior category, while Galway Educate Together NS in Newcastle took the top spot among the senior teams. Both will now progress to the next stage of the quiz in March, and the CU wish them every success as they continue their journey.
The quiz was expertly guided by Ronan Lardner of Galway Bay FM, whose humour and energy kept the atmosphere lively throughout the evening.
The support of teachers and Claddagh Credit Union staff played a vital role, ensuring the event ran smoothly and that every team felt encouraged and supported. A warm thank you also goes to the Clybaun Hotel for providing a welcoming space for families, staff and schools to come together.
