Leapmotor Ireland has been announced as the official motor sponsor of the VHI Women's Mini Marathon which takes place on May 31, 2026.
As the marathon's official motor sponsor, Leapmotor Ireland will provide a fleet from its all-electric range to serve as support vehicles throughout the event. The Leapmotor fleet will include the recently launched family SUV the C10, the compact T03 city car, and the new B10 SUV. The fleet will also include the lead car, guiding participants along the iconic Dublin route.
Now in its 44th year, the VHI Women's Mini Marathon has become one of the nation's most beloved sporting events. The event encourages women of all fitness levels to participate, aiming to empower women and support causes close to their hearts while celebrating strength and community.
David O'Leary is the race director of the event and he said that the VHI Women's Mini Marathon are "thrilled" to partner with Leapmotor Ireland.
"We’re thrilled to partner with Leapmotor, a brand that mirrors those same principles, and eagerly anticipate the enhancements Leapmotor’s presence will have on the event day experience.
"Our participants are driven, conscious, and passionate; they care about performance, style and making choices that reflect their core values," he said.
Part of the Stellantis group, Leapmotor is currently represented in Connacht by Kenny Galway on the Tuam Road.
