Mark Lohan Kitchens — a name now synonymous with design excellence in Galway — has been honoured on the national stage once again, securing three major titles at the Irish Kitchen Trade Awards 2025. Held at the Titanic Experience in Belfast, the awards take place only once every three years and are widely regarded as the most prestigious accolades in the Irish kitchen industry.

The company, which operates one of Ireland’s most impressive kitchen showrooms in Ballybane, Galway City, took home Retailer of the Year, Classic Kitchen Design Under €35k, and Best Use of Digital Marketing. It was also shortlisted in two additional design categories, underscoring the strength, consistency, and creative depth of a brand that continues to set new standards across Ireland.

For Galway, this year’s success is especially meaningful.

The Classic Kitchen Design award was earned by Breandán, one of the lead designers based in the Galway showroom. Judges praised his design approach and client-focused planning — recognition that reinforces Galway’s growing reputation as a destination for thoughtful, considered kitchen design. The achievement further positions the MLK showroom as a must-visit for homeowners undertaking new builds and renovations.

The Retailer of the Year title reflects the full experience Galway clients enjoy when they step into the showroom: personalised design consultations, over 35 full-size kitchens on display, precision-built cabinetry from the company’s Roscommon manufacturing plants, expert installation teams, and attentive aftercare. Judges commended MLK’s exceptional showroom standards, quality control, and client-led process, noting how these elements consistently translate into long-lasting value for homeowners.

MLK was also recognised nationally for Best Use of Digital Marketing, acknowledging the impact of its Instagram presence — now one of Ireland’s most-followed sources of kitchen inspiration. Through walkthrough videos, real home features, trend insights and behind-the-scenes craftsmanship, MLK’s digital content supports thousands of Irish homeowners as they plan and design their kitchens.

Speaking after the awards, Managing Director Mark Lohan said the recognition “reflects the talent and dedication of our entire team — and we are especially proud of Breandán and our Galway showroom for representing the West so strongly on the national stage.”

With a growing national client base and continued investment in Irish-made craftsmanship, 2025 marks a defining year for Mark Lohan Kitchens — and a milestone moment for Galway’s thriving design community.
