The Tesla Model Y Performance is now available nationwide with deliveries commencing next month.
The Model Y Performance is a 460hp family SUV which reaches 0-100km/h in 3.3 seconds. Priced from €61,990 in Ireland, the Model Y Performance promises around 580km of range and an improved charging speed thanks to an upgraded battery pack.
Upgraded chassis hardware matches the increased performance of the powertrain. New springs, stabilizer bars and bushings result in a chassis that feels more intuitive and responsive, according to Tesla.
At the centre of the dashboard, there is a new 16-inch touchscreen with thinner bezels and higher resolution. Tesla says it offers nearly 80 per cent more pixels than the 15.4-inch display on other Model Y variants, delivering a more immersive experience.
Other improvements of note include new 21-inch wheels, red brake callipers, carbon-fibre dash and door trim inserts and aluminium pedals.
Deliveries for the new Tesla Model Y Performance will commence this October.
