Gardai in Tuam are investigating a burglary at a house in Ard Cong, Tuam. This burglary occurred sometime between 7pm on Saturday, August 23, and midday on Sunday, August 24.
During the course of the burglary, a red and black Loncin generator, a Dewalt framing hammer, and two rolls of red felt were stolen.

Gardai in Galway are investigating a burglary that occurred at a house in Dun Na Coiribe, Headford Road, sometime between 1pm and 10pm on Saturday, August 23.
Entry was gained to the property via the door, and an amount of money was taken during the course of the burglary.

Criminal Damage, Poolboy Cottages, Ballinasloe.
Gardai in Ballinasloe are investigating a criminal damage incident at a private residence at Poolboy Cottages, Ballinasloe.
This incident occurred sometime between 11:30pm on Wednesday, August 20, and 9:30am on Thursday, August 21.
The front window of the house was damaged. Gardaí observed scorch marks below the window of the property, indicating that the culprit(s ) were intent on causing further damage. The scene was technically examined.

Gardai in Tuam are investigating an incident of criminal damage by fire to 3 vehicles that were parked outside residential houses at Gilmartin Road, Tuam. This incident occurred at approx. 3am on Monday, August 25, 2025.
The vehicles were extensively damaged, and the scene was technically examined.

Theft from vehicle at Briar Hill
Gardai in Oranmore are investigating a theft from a parked vehicle at Briarhill Shopping Centre. This occurred between 10pm on Tuesday August 19 and 2pm on Wednesday the 20th of August20
A number of power tools were taken during the course of this theft, including a black and yellow DeWalt angle grinder, a black and yellow SDS drill, a black and yellow DeWalt drill, and a red and black DeWalt impact driver.

A gray Marin racing bike was taken from outside of the property.
