Glenamaddy burglary
At approx. 3:15pm on Friday afternoon (August 1 ) a house at Kilkerrin Rd. Glenamaddy, Co. Galway was broken into.
Two males entered the property through the rear door,but were disturbed by the homeowner and they fled the scene in a silver Lexus car.
Anyone who may have seen any person or the Silver Lexus vehicle acting suspiciously in the area around this time is asked to contact Tuam Garda Station on 093-70840 or the Garda confidential line on 1800666111.
Theft from MPVs
Between 1:30pm and 1:45pm on Friday 01/08/25 a White Peaugot Partner van which was parked outside the AIB bank in Oranmore village had the passenger side window smashed and a quantity of cash was taken from the passenger’s seat of the vehicle.
Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed any person acting suspiciously in the area or any person interfering with this van to contact Oranmore Garda Station 091-388030 or the Garda confidential line on 1800 666 111.
At Approx 5:40pm on Thursday afternoon 31/07/25 a Grey BMW X3 jeep was broken into while parked at Applegreen Petrol Station on the Tuam Rd. Galway.
A black suitcase was taken from the vehicle. Anyone who may have seen anyone interfering with the Grey BMW or anyone who may know the whereabouts of the black suitcase is asked to contact Galway Garda Station on 091-538000.
Assault at Eyre Square
At Approx. 9:50pm on Saturday (August 2 ), a man was assaulted in the toilets in Supermacs, Eyre Square, Galway.
This man was assaulted by three men and received a number of injuries as a result of this assault.
