Galway’s Pam Finn appointed to advisory board of Los Angeles Film Festival

Galway-based filmmaker and media strategist Pam Finn has been appointed to the Advisory Board of the City of Angels Film Festival in Los Angeles. The international festival, which celebrates bold independent storytelling, counts Joanna Lumley among its distinguished patrons.

Pam joins a board of industry leaders including editor Elísabet Ronaldsdóttir (John Wick, Atomic Blonde ), director Tom Holland (Fright Night, Child’s Play ), and actress-producer Lisa Crosato. Her appointment signals the festival’s continued commitment to championing diverse global voices in film.

Finn is the director of the award-winning short documentary JFK: The Three Miles, which tells the story of President John F. Kennedy’s historic visit to Galway in 1963 through intimate local testimonies. The film is now available to stream on Amazon Prime UK, following a successful international festival run with awards in Cannes and Washington DC, and selection by the City of Angels Women’s Film Festival in LA.
