Water was returned to the Ballybane Road area of Galway city after an outage to deliver essential works on Wednesday.
Uisce Éireann crews completed the works to strengthen the network, and the system is now recharging.
Uisce Éireann’s Leo O’Shea thanked customers for their cooperation: “We acknowledge the inconvenience caused by a planned outage, but crews worked as quickly as possible to restore the normal water supply. The network is now refilling, and all properties in the area should have full pressure.”
