Volvo Car Ireland has announced new pricing and specification details for 2025 registrations. The all-electric Volvo EX40 and EC40 now have a new starting price of €48,990, representing a price reduction of €3,255 from the previous model year.
As the electric space continues to grow in Ireland, this new price point provides a more competitive offering to Volvo customers as demand increases for electric cars. This comes at a time when Volvo Car Ireland relaunches is bestselling model, the Volvo XC60.
The EC40 and EX40 are as compelling as ever, with Google built-in and smart interior storage, each offering a WLTP electric range of up to 576 kilometres and 569 kilometres respectively. New exterior colours include Aurora Silver, Forest Lake and Denim Blue.
Earlier this year, Volvo Car Ireland announced that the XC60 would receive a significant refresh, featuring key updates in user experience, design and comfort along with a faster and more responsive infotainment system. Order books are now open for the XC60 plug-in hybrid, with a starting price of €67,145.
The exterior of the refreshed XC60 brings a more contemporary look to the premium five-seater. The new air intake, with Volvo Cars’ iconic iron mark, reflects the recent updates to the XC90. The refreshed XC60 also comes with new wheel options and darker rear lights. The new model year introduces two new colours: Forest Lake and Aurora Silver, both available on the refreshed XC60. In addition, Mulberry Red will be available on the XC60 for the first time.
Following the successful launch of the Black Edition EX40/EC40 and XC60, Volvo Car Ireland has now expanded the Black Edition offering on each of these models to include new exterior colours options other than the traditional Onyx Black, these include Crystal White, Denim Blue and Vapour Grey. The Black Edition models include high gloss black badging, 20-inch five-spoke alloys in high gloss and a microtech charcoal interior.
Each of these models is now available to order for July delivery, with all pricing inclusive of SEAI grant and VRT relief.
