The Connacht Hotel is celebrating the success of Jamie Farrell, meetings and events manager, who has been honoured with the Employee Excellence Award for Galway at the Irish Restaurant Awards 2025. The regional ceremony took place on Tuesday, April 8 in the Radisson Blu Hotel in Sligo.
Ms Farrell’s dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to excellence were celebrated among the best of the hospitality industry in the Connacht region. Her win is a testament to her outstanding work ethic, her positive impact on both guests and colleagues, and her passion for delivering exceptional service at every event she oversees.
The entire team at The Connacht Hotel is immensely proud of Jamie, who is a much valued and respected member of the team. Her award recognises not only her individual excellence but also reflects the high standards of service that are upheld throughout the hotel.

Ms Farrell will now go on to represent Galway in the National Finals of the Irish Restaurant Awards in May, where she will compete for the national title.
