Between 1.30pm on Tuesday, 16 and 12.30pm on Wednesday, January 17 a black bike was taken from the rack outside of Active Fitness at the Connacht Hotel.

Mountain bike stolen in Ballybrit

On Tuesday, January 16 between 12.30pm and 1.45pm, a red Carrera mountain bike was stolen from outside Dxc Technologies in the Ballybrit Business Park.

Window smashed in Galway city centre

On Sunday, January 21, between 2.30am and 3.30am a window was smashed on a business premises on Williamsgate Street in Galway city centre.

Car window smashed in Lower Salthill

On Friday, January 19 a 131D black Toyota Prius was parked up in Lios Ealtan in Lower Salthill. While it was parked up, the front window was smashed at approximately 7.45pm.

Apple MacBook stolen from Jag

Between 5pm on Saturday, January 20 and 10am on Monday, January 22 a 12D white Jaguar was broken into in the carpark of Tonery’s Bar on Bohermore. An Apple MacBook was then stolen from the vehicle.

Wallet stolen from a car

On Thursday, January 18 between 5.30pm and 8pm a 182 red Ford Focus was broken into while parked in the Cúirt Seoige complex in Bohermore. The front passenger side window was smashed and a wallet was subsequently taken.

Copper cable burgled from Merlin Park Hospital

Just before midnight on Saturday, January 20 and 1am on Sunday, January 21 two containers were broken into on a building site in the grounds of Merlin Park Hospital.

During the course of this break in, a large quantity of copper cable was taken. It is possible that this cable was moved through a field and out onto the Old Dublin Road.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area who witnessed any suspicious vehicles or persons acting in a suspicious manner to please contact Gardaí to help progress this investigation. Any persons who may have been in the area who may have dash came footage are asked to please make it available to Gardaí.
