Brite Mobility to launch several high powered EV charging sites

Brite Mobility, the electric mobility company owned by Colin Barry (ex Motorpark ) is launching several high powered EV Charging sites this year in Galway starting with Currys at Galway Retail Park and at the Motorpark site at the Sandy Road.

EV car owners are going to be able to charge their cars with available power of up to 240kwh which means that customers can get a large charge in the space of 15 minutes on their EV, hugely beneficial for many use cases including taxis, fleet drivers and tourists alike.

Brite expect to have the first sites up and running by the end of this summer and will be expanding capacity in the next eighteen months.

Colin Barry said that Brite are extremely excited to move the emobility business forward, focusing on delivering a sustainable transport future for Galway, with the West of Ireland’s largest EV charging site with up to 24 EV charging spots at the Sandy Quarter development on the Sandy Road being delivered by the end of 2024.

“The Sandy Quarter is the LDA’s newest and most exciting project that was recently launched in Galway and the Motorpark site is set to ReEnergise the Sandy Quarter and kick off what will become the most sustainable and beautiful part of Galway city.

“We will start with four super fast chargers at Galway Retail Park and four at Motorpark and then the Motorpark site will grow to 24 bays by 2024,” he said.
