Major National Interfaith Conference to be held at Galway Mosque

Over recent years the role of religious institutions in Ireland has come under scrutiny and distrust as we experience what many refer to as a post religious society.

One in which organised religion and faith communities are experiencing a decline in membership and attendance as the relevance of religious faith is increasingly challenged.

The Galway Mosque/Ahmadiyya Muslim Community will be holding a major National Interfaith Conference at the Galway Maryam Mosque, Ballybrit, Galway on November 19.

The theme of the conference will be on how religious faith can play a positive role in Irish society.

Speakers from several faith communities as well as Mayoral, TDs and Councillors will be in attendance.
