Tuam Falcons Hockey Club has taken another leap forward in its development with a new club logo.

It was designed by 14-years-old Millie Ross, who was the winner of a competition for primary and secondary school children in Tuam.

As part of the prize Irish International Olympian hockey player Naomi Carroll visited Tuam this week to present the prizes and also conduct a hockey training session with Millie's class in the Mercy Secondary School.

Tuam Falcons, growing in numbers and popularity over the last nine months, has also been boosted with local sponsorship from John Feeley from Total Health Pharmacy.

Runners-up in the competition were Aoibhin Ralph (Gaelscoil NS ), Joe O Grady (AMC Tuam ), and Catherine Keenan (Kilconly NS ).
