Elite, No 102 Fr Griffin Road.

On Friday May 27 at 12 noon, auctioneer Colm O’Donnellan welcomed people into the auction room in the Harbour Hotel Galway, which was attended by a fantastic crowd. The auction was also broadcast remotely on the O’Donnellan & Joyce company website and social media platforms by Brandt Studios.

With more than 200 bidders registered for online bidding as well as a high number of phone and in-room bidders, it was a day of frantic bidding across many lots. A number of winning bids on the day came from international bidders in the UK and USA, who purchased their properties after viewing virtual tours.

The combination of modern technology, the live stream of the auction, and interaction with the auctioneer has been a huge success as Colm O’Donnellan maximises the price and the sale of the properties. The company continued its high success rate at the third of seven auctions of 2022 with over €4 million in sales revenue between sales during the auction and some post auction sales, with many of the remaining lots now under offer.
