Connacht Hospitality Group sets ambitious target for fundraising in 2022

The Connacht Hospitality group have set themselves an ambitious target to raise €100,000 for four worthy charities in 2022. The charities which will benefit from the year long calendar of events are including Claddagh Watch Patrol, National Breast Cancer Research Institute, Galway Hospice and Make-A-Wish Ireland. The entire team across all of the business have an exciting year of events and activations planned.

The Galway-based Connacht Hospitality Group, operates three hotels in Galway City, The Residence Hotel; the newly refurbished and rebranded HYDE Hotel; and the flagship property The Connacht Hotel. They also operate a 24-hour Active Fitness Leisure Club as well as three leading licence premises including An Pucan, 1520 Bar, HYDE Bar & Gin Parlour and the best parkland golf course in Connacht, the Galway Bay Golf Resort with future plans to build a luxury 4-star hotel and spa on the resort; and they are also a partner company of Greenway construction.

Claddagh Watch Patrol do trojan work in monitoring the waterways around our city, Galway Hospice as the closest neighbour to the Connacht Hotel do amazing work supporting people to learn to live with a life limiting illness. National Breast Cancer Research Institute is a national charity that funds a comprehensive research programme at the National University of Ireland, Galway. Make-A-Wish, a national children’s charity grants wishes to children living with life-threatening illnesses bringing, hope, joy and lasting, precious memories to each wish child and their family.
