Nationwide Auctioneers O’Donnellan & Joyce will hold a fantasy property auction at 12 noon tomorrow to raise funds for charity. This is an auction with a difference in that the auctioneer will donate money to a charity of the winner's choice.
The event which will be streamed by Brandt Studios on the O’Donnellan & Joyce Facebook page and website, and on the Galway Advertiser website. As well as supporting charities which are under pressure at the moment, this is an opportunity for people to enjoy the excitement of an auction without having to pay for it.
O’Donnellan & Joyce actively supports many local and national charities and plans to provide some much-needed funds for those in need during the Covid-19 crisis.
Tomorrow's fantasy auction will see phone, proxy, and internet bidders battle it out to be in with a chance to win a cash donation to a charity of their choice, paid by O’Donnellan & Joyce auctioneers. Starting at noon, more than 50 bidders will take to their phones and computers in an attempt to place a bid which will award them the opportunity to nominate their preferred charity to receive one of the three cash donations up for grabs.
The auctioneers have selected three fantasy properties, and the valuations department of O’Donnellan & Joyce have provided a valuation for each.
The winner of each lot will not be the person with the highest bid, but rather the individual whose bid is the closest to the property valuation. Each winner will have a donation made by O’Donnellan & Joyce on their behalf to their nominated charity.
