Homes on view in Doire Feá, Moycullen

Following the successful initial off-plan release of homes in Doire Feá, the new residential development in Moycullen, where more than 20 homes have been sold thus far, well established local developer BRTW Developments has confirmed an open weekend on May 18 and 19 when a selection of houses will be available to view between 11am and 1pm.

Doire Feá comprises a variety of large three, four, and five bedroom homes and is located in Moycullen, c500 metres from the village centre close to the local primary school, RC church, and to the rear of An Teaghlach Uilinn Retirement Centre. Kilrainey Woods forms the backdrop to this development of only 50 homes.

Construction on site is well advanced with completion dates for the first homes sold scheduled for the end of May/early June, while the build programme for the next phases is under way and progressing well.

From the homes that have been released to date, there is a limited number of four bed semidetached houses available. Extremely generous areas are provided in these homes with the four beds extending from 145sq m (1,560sq ft ) to 158sq m (1,702sq ft ). Prices start from €340,000.

The only detached house in the development, a large five bed extending to 203sq m (2,190sq ft ) is also now available at €495,000.

All the three bed mid-terrace houses that had been made available sold out quickly, but the good news for prospective purchasers is there will be more released in upcoming phases. The spacious three beds extend to 141sq m (1,516sq ft ).

The new energy efficient Doire Feá homes will be BER A-rated with the associated benefit of low running costs and extremely comfortable living conditions for families. Heating is by an air to water heat pump system with underfloor heating provided on ground floor level and high output Riva aluminium radiators on the other floors. All homes will also be fitted with a heat recovery ventilation system. Superior levels of insulation are throughout each house and is being fitted by Ecowise Insulation Ltd.

With regard internal finishes, a fantastic choice of fitted kitchens are being provided by Kreation Kitchens, Athenry, who are also supplying fitted wardrobes. Purchasers are also benefitting from a choice of tiles to the bathrooms while high quality sanitary ware is installed as standard. Grady Joinery is supplying and fitting high-performance double-glazed windows and patio doors.

In addition, the homes at Doire Feá qualify for the Help to Buy Scheme, the Government's tax refund initiative for first time buyers purchasing new houses. This incentive is expiring at the end of 2019 and first time buyers are encouraged to register with Revenue as they could be eligible for a tax rebate of five per cent of the value of the property, up to a maximum of €20,000. For example, with a four bed semidetached at €340,000, first time buyers can get a rebate of €17,000 that can be used towards the deposit.
