Fantasy Football round 11 preview

In association with St. Anthony's & Claddagh Credit Union

November has arrived and we are nearly a third way through the Premier League season.

Some Fantasy managers are being lauded by the fans whereas others are suffering the pressures of top flight competition as their charges fail to deliver from week to week. But it is always important to look forward and here are the three players that I believe will get your team moving back up the Advertiser Tribal League in association with St Anthony's and Claddagh Credit Union.

1. Ross Barkley (Chelsea ) v Crystal Palace

Is the Liverpudlian finally delivering on all that potential? I think so. The English midfielder has managed to stay fit enough to string a series of games together and the sharpness is showing. Three goals in three games plus two assists see Barkley as the hottest property in the league, becoming the most transferred in player in the game. This weekend Chelsea play host to struggling Crystal Palace. The Croydon side have picked only two points from their last five outings and I cannot see them improving that stat this Sunday. I expect Barkley to be among the goal scorers and at £5.8 million he is an absolute bargain. Get him into your team.

2. Roberto Pereyra (Watford ) v Newcastle United

After doing nothing for five matches and I mean nothing, Roberto Pereyra rewarded his manager's faith and loyalty by scoring twice in his past two games against Wolves and Huddersfield. The Argentine international is a confidence player who scores in bursts and it seems that he is in the middle of one of those bursts. On Saturday, the Hornets travel to the north-east to face winless Newcastle. The Magpies look like they are going down unless there is a drastic upturn in their fortunes. I believe it will be a Watford win with Pereyra doing the damage.

3. Gylfi Sigurdsson (Everton ) v Brighton

The Iceman is buzzing at the moment with five goals in seven league outings. The Icelandic midfielder's form has coincided with Everton's improvement in performances and results. On Saturday afternoon, the Toffees take on Brighton at Goodison Park who are in great form with three consecutive 1-0 victories. I believe this is going to an intriguing contest between two evenly matched sides who are playing well. It will take something special to separate these teams and I am banking on Sigurdsson providing that magic touch.
