What are the benefits to owner occupied landlords?
Whether you rent out a room, or let a part of your owner occupied house, the following benefits are available if you can provide accommodation
Earn up to €14,000 tax free (see link below to the revenue website )
Have some company in your home
Earn in the region of €160 to €200 per student per week for approximately 36 weeks depending on the basis you are letting (including meals/self-catering - 5 or 7 days basis ).
TUS Students’ Union will be advertising your available properties to the students of the Technological University of the Shannon only.
