Pip & Pear treats come to a Tesco near you

Ireland’s much loved and home grown chilled baby food, Pip & Pear, is thrilled to announce they have gone nationwide and are now available in 112 Tesco stores across Ireland as well as online through Tesco.ie

The best alternative to homemade meals for parents, Pip & Pear's guilt-free offering is a natural and tasty range gently cooked using Irish Bord Bia approved meat and poultry, organic fruit and vegetables.

With no added salt, sugar or additives, Pip & Pear is just like homemade and is made in Ireland. The dishes include ingredients such as coconut milk, apricots, butternut squash, ginger, cumin and lentils, offering babies a wholesome and varied selection filled with vibrant flavours and colours.

Products range from €1.89 to €2.99 across the four stages from baby to toddler, catering for little ones from five months up to three years.

The textures of each stage are age appropriate and help with the development of a normal palate, fine motor skills, aiding speech and language development.

Pip & Pear launched in the summer of 2015 when Waterford founder and owner Irene Queally went back to work after her second child, 'when I had my second child I noticed a gap in the market for chilled, nutritious and tasty baby food, which offered time-pressed parents a guilt-free alternative to home cooking, as opposed to the long-shelf-life products that were the only other choice in the market.

'These pouches and jars of food didn’t look or taste anything like the baby food I was cooking at home so I decided to change that and create something more suitable for parents and children across Ireland', explained Ms Queally.

All products are also gluten, egg and soya free. Pip & Pear is committed to manufacturing sustainably with pots fully recyclable, re-usable and BPA free so are ideal for parents to use for their own batch cooking.

Pip & Pear Chilled Baby Food offers the best nutritional options in a convenient little pot and makes it easier for babies to transition to a broad range of solid foods. Make sure to look out for them in the dairy fridge of your local Tesco.
