Connemara kickboxer Bryan "Mayhem" Merrigan, who fights out of the Galway Black Dragon Kickboxing club, will make a mandatory first defence of his IKF All Ireland Super Welterweight K-1 title to tough Muay Thai fighter Dave Walsh from the renowned K2C Gym in Cork.

The title defence will take place on Saturday evening in the Menlo Park Hotel, Galway, and will be the main event of a 15 fight card which will include three international contests.
