Champions Sarsfields to meet Gort in quarter-finals

The quarter-finals of the Salthill Hotel County Senior Hurling Championship took place on Tuesday evening and threw up four exciting fixtures.

Current county champions Sarsfields will take on Gort, and former kingpins of hurling in the county, Portumna, who will be without their star player Joe Canning (surgery on his hamstring, will face off with former All-Ireland champions St Thomas.
