Funding for Corner Chapel footpath

A total of €58,000 has been allocated for works which will see the continuation of the footpath at Corner Chapel, Headford, under the active travel and climate action scheme.

This application was completed in association with the Caherlistrane Community Council, which is now working on securing funding for extra public lighting on the route. Fianna Fáil Galway county councillor, Mary Hoade, has welcomed the allocation and the works.
