GALWAY BAROQUE Singers resume rehearsals for the new term on Wednesday in anticipation of an exciting autumn event.

This season, on Saturday October 22 in Leisureland, the RTE Concert Orchestra join the choir for an evening of Gilbert and Sullivan music entitled Gilbert and Sullivan Extravaganza. This is an exciting event for the singers as the choir has not sung this repertoire previously. They will be joined by several soloists and John Wilson, the internationally acclaimed English conductor and arranger, will lead the combined forces in what promises to be a very enjoyable evening's music.
