Ford starts Euro customer trials of new E-Transit vans

The first European customer trials of the new all-electric E-Transit will soon be underway, Ford has confirmed.
Prototype E-Transit vehicles will be joining customer fleets to operate in challenging real-world conditions with major businesses in the supermarket, home delivery, postal services and utilities sectors across Germany, Norway and in the UK.

Motorists are being urged to put their mobile phones away when driving as new research from the Road Safety Authority shows that one in 10 motorists admit to regularly texting while behind the wheel.
The Driver Attitudes & Behaviour Survey 2020 also revealed that nine per cent of motorists admit to driving and talking on a handheld mobile phone, with the same percentage of motorists regularly checking mobile apps while driving.
