It has also proven itself nationally, winning both the regional and the all-Ireland Best Newcomer Award at the Restaurant Association of Ireland Food Awards. Local suppliers, Loughnane's of Galway and Builín Blasta received top accolades at this year’s awards. Winning products include a gold medal for Loughnane's of Galway’s Specially Selected White Pudding and a silver award for their Specially Selected Black Pudding. Builín Blasta also scooped a gold award for their Smoked Onion Mayo.
