Small Town Heroes @ The Stock Exchange

POP-ROCK band Small Town Heroes begin their Thursday residency at The Stock Exchange Bar on Shop Street tonight.

The quintet play everything from old-school party anthems to current chart hits and will also be playing on Friday night. Also playing the venue are Eleventh Hour, who are on-stage for the Super Sunday Session, followed by DJ playing chart hits and classic party tunes. Doors are at 8pm.

Mick Flannery’s Berlin inspirations

Following in those footsteps is Mick Flannery, the stonemason turned singer-songwriter, who returns to the Róisín Dubh this Saturday at 8pm, to promote his new album, By The Rule, which was written in Berlin.

Reggae this weekend

Two of Ireland’s leading reggae singers Lariman (pictured) and Cian Finn will play the next Rootical Sound System gig at The Victoria Hotel, this Saturday. Cian’s debut album, This Applies, due out in the summer, was produced by Prince Fatty. Lariman of Dublin’s Dub Investigation, will play some new material on the night. Doors are 10pm. Admission is €6 before midnight and €8 after.
