The Oranmore Community Development Association (OCDA ) would like to say a big thank you to the 27 local businesses that, combined, donated more than €5,000 to this year’s Oranmore Christmas Lights appeal.
Each year, OCDA installs Christmas lights from the astroturf through the village to the bridge. With this year’s funding, we aim to illuminate the village and deliver the best display yet.
Come and join us in front of the Library at 5:00pm on Sunday, December 14, for the official ‘Turning-on of the Oranmore Christmas Lights’. For those with younger members of the family, we invite you to the Oranmore Family Christmas Party in Keane’s Music Venue from 3:00pm to 5:00pm that same day.
There’ll be music and games, with prizes for kids aged 4 to 12, and stalls featuring festive treats provided by our local restaurants and cafes. Free entry and all are welcome.
